dbus-glib is deprecated

Hi!
I would be interested in using this proxy. However, I’m told that dbus-glib is deprecated and unmaintained and not thread-safe (and you seem to use threads).
Is there any plan to replace dbus-glib with another library (GDBus, sd-bus…)?
But then, maybe it is stable as it is… I did not try ;-)

Yes replacing dbus-glib with GDBus is something we want to do. However, I can't say at this point when that might be done. I'll make sure to bring it up for discussion again. Meanwhile, a contribution like that would be very welcome of course :)
