Hello, the mod Traveler's Backpack has a feature which adds a jukebox upgrade that allows users to play music discs from within their backpack GUI. At the moment, custom discs are incompatible as VinURL does not recognize the play button with a disc present as a jukebox to begin the downloading/playing process.

I'm grateful for your work on this mod and appreciate if you considered implementing this functionality to make enjoying your mod that much easier. Thank you.

This is also something that the Traveler's Backpack team plans to look into eventually with their issue thread being here.

After asking them, they surmised that due to their jukebox upgrade mimics the vanilla jukebox behavior, while VinURL modifies the jukebox behavior instead. However, VinURL could (conditionally) inject into the jukebox module's code in order to make VinURL function as expected. Hopefully this may be useful if this is decided to be a worthwhile endeavor to pursue. Thank you.

The reason the mods are not compatible with each other yet is the way VinURL manages its songs. Since the music is downloaded dynamically during runtime and only on the client side, VinURL uses its own way of playing/stopping the custom music. See here to integrate VinURL into other mods

With VinURL 2.2.0+ were 2 new api endpoints introduced to start and stop non positional sounds for a specified player. This should be useful for making portable jukeboxes compatible with VinURL
