Compatibility with mods that implement portable jukeboxes

The mod Pocket Tools adds a pocket jukebox which can be used to play music on the go. However, when trying to play a custom disc from vinurl (you have to right click with the disc on the pocket jukebox), nothing sounds.

It would be nice to be able to use this and that it works to keep listening to music even when traveling

Thanks for the idea, due to the somewhat unusual implementation of the music records, compatibility with other mods that implement jukeboxes is probably more difficult. I can't promise anything, but I'll take a look at it

No problem. When I created this issue I didn't know about Sophisticated Backpacks which include a jukebox you can carry in your backpack. However if I recall correctly custom music didn't work there either. It's a completely extra and not that necessary feature so don't feel too pressured about it.

Just ran into it also not working with sophisticated backpacks portable jukebox also. This would be insane to add, if you can point me in the right direction I could possibly help implement! Sick mod btw, just added Sinytra connector for my forge server for this and it works great! (other than #1 but it works for 1 more disc if I relog)

With VinURL 2.2.0+ were 2 new api endpoints introduced to start and stop non positional sounds for a specified player. This should be useful for making portable jukeboxes compatible with VinURL
