Benchmark potential performance loss resulting from migration to pcre2

Having sidelined the regex optimization functionality of the Corpus Workbench / CWB, it would be good to know whether there is a performance loss. I assume not, because of JIT. But I would like to know, so we should run benchmarks to know.
