Bill Description:

• Removes marriage penalties from certain individual income tax credits and exemptions
• Sets income phaseout amounts for single/HOH/MFS filers to be half of joint filer amounts
• Increases nonrefundable taxpayer tax credit only for married claimants
• Repeals the nonrefundable earned income tax credit
• Makes technical and conforming changes
