Setup

• MW version: 1.35.5
• PHP version: 7.4.28 (litespeed)
• DB (MySQL etc.): 10.3.34-MariaDB
• SMW version: 3.2.3
• MT version: 1.2.0

Issue

When you use the setting
$wgUseInstantCommons = true;
you only need to point an image property to a name available in wikimedia commons to be able to use the file as if it were uploaded locally. However, images that are not uploaded locally are not displayed in the timeline.

In the same wiki with the same settings, an entry with an uploaded image will display the image, the entry with the image pointing to a wikimedia commons file will not.
