create a website for guides

I'm working on a website similar to what we have for RADocs, but for the guides we have here.

TODO:

• adjust the wiki's Sidebar (use RAdocs-wiki as inspiration)
• ask @luchaos to create the guides subdomain (CNAME here will be guides.retroachievements.org)
• create an "edit link" similar to what we have in https://retroachievements.org/wiki-edit-redirect.php
• show to @ViperZang the peculiarities of markdown and how it differs from what we see in the wiki and in site created with mkdocs.

Not to my knowledge.

I'd like to see RAGuides exist on the site itself, with editing tools comparable to what's available on PSNProfiles. The guides can tightly integrate with games and their sets, and can all be managed in a roles/permissions driven way by the Writing Team and others.

There are a whole handful of problems that need to be solved before we can have this, though, and some of these problems are pretty complex. It wouldn't surprise me if we're at least a year away from beginning to build this out.

Not gonna lie, I'll agree with you, and doing an approach similar to that of RAdocs is also a good idea. Unfortunately it seems that the site linked here is literally just an almost blank page with a copy of README.md, which is quite sad. I do think that this part of RetroAchievements deserves more love, but I know it's definitely been getting more attention, mainly with GameCube sets (such as Super Mario Sunshine, which was featured in this month's RANews (August for those that read this in the future)) and Nepiki cleaning up some stuff, as well as new sets appearing on the homepage of RA (as of this writing, the latest one is for Paper Mario TTYD).
