Issue Description
My application Honorus (App ID: 767749) has been Pending Review for 45+ days without any response or feedback.

Application Evolution
Since my initial submission, Honorus has progressed significantly:

• ✅ Platform is now live at https://honorus.fr
• ✅ 50+ active users in closed beta
• ✅ Full gamification system operational (missions, XP, rankings)
• ✅ Match tracking and performance analysis working
• ✅ Riot API integration complete and ToS-compliant

Why I Need Production Key Now
The Development Key rate limits (100 req/2min) are causing issues:

• Game detection polling hits limits during peak hours
• Match sync delays frustrate users after games
• Growing userbase (~50 users) exceeds dev key capacity

APIs Used

• Match-V5 (match history, performance tracking)
• Summoner-V4 (account linking)
• League-V4 (ranked stats display)
• Spectator-V5 (live game detection)

Compliance

• No data selling or sharing
• No automation or botting features
• Display-only usage for player improvement
• Users authenticate via Riot Sign-On

Hi there.
Based on other feedback from the community, the average waiting time is 6-9 months (by now) and steadily increasing.

Additionally, a production key still has the same limits as a dev key. You need to ask for a rate limit increase on the prod key while or after it has been approved.

On top of that, I might wanna point out that the matches named on your landing page could be easily pulled within 5 hours, even with a dev key. You might want to check your keys utilization and should try to spread requests more instead of bursting them.

A few follow-up questions:

1. Rate limit increase on dev key - Is it possible to request a rate limit increase on a dev key while waiting for prod approval? Or is that only for approved prod keys?

2. Regarding request spreading - We've actually just shipped several optimizations:

   • Parallelized match fetching (batches of 5 with retry)
   • Extended match cache to 6h / 2000 entries (cross-user)
   • Reduced match fetch from 20 to 10 per sync
   • Merged duplicate ranked API calls
   • Skip ranked API when only ARAM/normals played

   Our main rate limit issue comes from Spectator API polling (game detection every 45s per connected user). We're planning to implement adaptive polling to reduce this. Any other suggestions?

3. 6-9 months - Is there any way to expedite the review for apps that are already live with active users? Or is the queue strictly FIFO?

Dev keys are not subject to API limit increases, and even if they were, the support ticket system used for those requests also has a several month backlog aswell

The queue is processed in the order applications are received and also editing the app also apparently resets your place in the queue so don't do that either
