Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
As a DEVELOPER checking the state of the project and maintaining it, I WANT to help users inform the maintainers about the version they are requesting help for SO that I can more easily guide them towards the right information.

Describe the solution you'd like

• The build version is shown in the application.
• There is a procedure documented explaining versioning for the wiki.
• The version is updated when changes are applied.
