Is there possibility for writing support?

Using basically same json definition (hand-written first) + few pngs...

I ask because I can't find small enough blu-ray sample with menu to fit into remaining space on my Android tablet running termux (python3 works, so at least I can see help output of this tool)

Sorry, I no longer have time to maintain this tool. If you want to go ahead and try to add writing support, maybe you can check https://github.com/SAPikachu/igstools/blob/master/igstools/parser.py to implement re-composition, though I am not exactly sure whether I missed anything in the spec. If you can submit a pull request I will happily merge it. :)

Maybe you can also extract a menu file from a PC, send it to tablet and work with it? The menu file shouldn't be too big. If you are concerned with file corruption issue of BDedit, you can also use

igstools/igstools/parser.py

sadly I do not know python.. at best I fixed minor issue in old version of Openshot...
