[Bug] ShakeIt Bass Shaker Output Stops Mid-Simulation #2181

Description

@Racer-Johnny

Describe the bug

ShakeIt Bass Shaker Output Stops Mid-Simulation. Pedal haptics continue to operate normally, but all bass shaker output stops at apparently random times after launching the sim. Issue was previously reported in Bug #2099 version 9.10.12 and issue resolved with 9.10.13 update. However, the issue returned same as before after update to 9.11.1. There were no other changes other than updating SimHub version.

Note: A new dashboard layout for the Grid DDU5 was imported / installed on 1/31 via Dash Studio, but the issue was already occurring before installing the dashboard so I believe unrelated.

SimHub version

9.11.1

Third-party plugins

  • I have disabled all third-party plugins.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to iRacing and launch "Test Drive" or any official race to initiate sim.
  2. Begin driving. Bass Shakers operating as expected.
  3. Bass Shaker output cuts off. The last audio levels are displayed in the Sound Output tab and essentially "frozen". Sim otherwise continues and pedal haptics still function. Bass Shaker function does NOT return, unless cycling Sound Output toggle off/on. Output will cease again after a couple laps.

Expected behavior

I expect the Bass Shaker Sound Output to continue through sim without disruption.

Screenshots

Reference screenshots in #2099 - issue is identical. New log files uploaded for comparison. Note: Issue occurred after updating on 1/31/2026. No issue from previous logs 12-20.
