[Bug] BMW E36 Cluster Temp and Fuel gauges are *not* acting strangely! #2183

Describe the bug

You've read it right,
Those strange behaviors many describes may be normal, once we had 2 simple rules :

  • Fuel gauge can't raise when speedometer is on (or fake on tick box).
  • Temp gauge can't raise when tachometer is not on.

Both can decrease at every time, this asymmetric reaction is quite confusing when you're not told about.
Those needle are quite slow (except in test mode). There's a massive dampened logic in play.
Moreover, there's a min/max duty cycle to find for each one, off range signal will discard gauge until next full restart.

SimHub version

9.11.1

Third-party plugins

  • I have disabled all third-party plugins.

Steps to reproduce

Basic test gauges on working, well wired E36 cluster.
Focus on fuel and water temp.

Expected behavior

E36 Cluster Temp and Fuel jauges are expected to move according to PWM signal.
That's true indeed, only under precise conditions.
