Buffer disappearing crash #24

Hi, I'm having a bug where upon unloading and reloading a chunk (such as travelling into the nether) the buffers within that chunk will disappear like so http://imgur.com/a/qgzve
Reloading the world will cause the buffers to reappear.
When I pipe items into the buffer the game crashes with the following crash log http://pastebin.com/a0H8XrdT
Before someone mentions that the bug was caused by the items the buffer is feeding into (in this case a modular furnace), the exact same crash happens to TE and Ender IO machines as well.
