What is SensorNet-UFAL?

SensorNet-UFAL aims to develop high-level research in wireless sensor networks, more specifically algorithms for processing and reducing data. The SensorNet-UFAL is headquartered in the Laboratory of Scientific Computation and Numerical Analysis (LaCCAN) located in the premises of the Center for Research in Computational Mathematics (CPMAT) of the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL). It currently has the financing of FAPEAL (Universal) and CNPQ (Universal).

The group has the collaboration of several researchers, not only of LaCCAN, but also of other national and international institutions. As national collaborators we have the DCC-UFMG, INATEL and the UFOP mobile and parallel computing group. As international collaborators we have the optimization group of the University of Newcastle in Australia, the ubiquitous computing group of the Beira Interior University in Portugal and the time series analysis group of the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina.
