Description
There is a persistent issue with the CJ4 when using Your Controls, which has been present for a long time, even after multiple updates.
During shared cockpit sessions, something within Your Controls frequently triggers the Keyboard Mode on the FMS (Flight Management System), even when neither pilot interacts with the screen. This happens randomly multiple times during a flight session.
🎯 Impact:
When the FMS enters Keyboard Mode:
One of the pilots loses the ability to interact with cockpit controls, including knobs, buttons, and switches.
The only way to regain control is to deactivate Keyboard Mode, but this can only be done if the affected pilot has the FMS visible on screen and manually clicks to exit Keyboard Mode.
🛑 Expected Behavior vs. Reality:
Keyboard Mode is supposed to activate only when the user clicks directly on the FMS screen to type into it. However, during shared cockpit sessions, it is being triggered spontaneously without any direct interaction with the FMS, multiple times throughout the flight.
🔍 Notes:
This issue significantly affects the usability and reliability of shared cockpit flights in the CJ4, as it can occur at any moment without warning, disrupting normal cockpit operation.
