Server Password #64
Description
Hello,
((English is not my native language, this text was translated into English using Google.com. I ask that you consider this, thank you))
i would like to ask something. Is this Simple Login mod safe? I mean, is it "possible" to still log in to servers without "Simple Login" and the key? Does it only use this one key? I hope it's safe.
I'm only asking all this because I'm having problems with a modpack.
Modpack is called: Project SkyQ 2 v1.3.2
I'll explain it. I installed this modpack and logged in too. I played for about 8-10 hours straight the first time. And that was it, I couldn't log in the next day. I've been working on this for a week now. I searched the internet using Google and found "nothing" that could help.
The server kicks me out and I keep getting this error message.
"Authentication servers are down. Please try again later, sorry"
I have already written to the ModPack developer. One time on his curseforge.com modpack page. And then I wrote to him personally via PM. No Answer. For days. He just doesn't care. He doesn't want to help me.
And another thing no, my Minecraft version is not illegal, I even have 2 Minecraft accounts, so I bought it twice.
That's why I came up with the idea of looking for a mod that can protect my server with a password. I have to ask something else here, in my first attempts I couldn't get in/log in to my server.
Only when I set the whitelist to false, i.e. deactivated it, was I able to log in. And that's why, just that's why I'm asking. Why all this is easy to explain. I'm a bit worried that anyone will be able to log into my server. And can destroy everything, really everything. Or building something that causes “violent” lags. Above all, (he/she) could then “destroy” everything that I have built and invested so much time and passion.
That's why I apologize for it being so much text. But I've been really stressed with this ModPack for days. I don't like half measures. I'll finish everything when I can.
Thanks in advance.
See You.
