[Feature request] Notification support

it would be really cool to have a notification system support, like apprise that supports A LOT of notification service. This way user can be notified, on all kind of channels, when new clips are available

Fireshare has been purpose built with only a single "user" in mind which is the admin. Adding notifications to fireshare only pushes a multi-user and more social platform which is not what fireshare is. There is no need to be notified of new videos as you the admin should already know of a new video as soon as you put it on your server. If you have a community that is large enough to be following your video uploads, then you likely have other methods to notify them of new videos such as posting to a discord server.

This is another example of a feature that would push fireshare into a more social platform state that I want to stay away from.

but following that logic discord integration should't exist in fireshare. My community is large enough but it doesn't use discord and by adopting a solution like apprise both discord and other non-discord community could be included as well

Sure, discord was the only concession I made since its such a huge platform that almost everybody playing games and using fireshare for gaming clips is going to likely also have a discord server or community. IF adding apprise or something is as simple as just passing some data to a webhook I may consider it since it wouldn't be super intrusive and would be a simple enough addition.

even only webhooks notification support would be awesome, I currently use them with apprise, gotify and similar services. Thank you for looking into

I helped with the creation of the Discord integration, it's ultimately up to Shane if this is allowed, but I would agree a general webhook might not be the end of the world.
