Feature Request: HomeAssistant Compatibility

This is a beautiful device. I bought 2 of the pre-assembled ones. Would be great if there was some option in the firmware to log the data back to HomeAssistant either with MQTT or Matter/Thread.

If it's helpful I have a PR that I've been running at home on 2 of these for a while. Seems to work well.

Full disclosure I did vibe code the whole thing because I haven't coded in C in a loooong time. Feel free to make use of it or ignore it as you see fit.

I also went down the zigbee rabbit hole for a while, but gave up after getting into a whole mess of quirks and never really getting it to work properly. I've connected the above firmware to HA using bluetooth and it works pretty well.
