Feature request: disable the life counter

would it be possible to make the life counter disappear and infinite life a bit like in neo super mario galaxy because since mario odyssey the lives are rendered useless because we can respawn at infinity of course losing coins or starbite would be a punitive option of course also would be good if we can choose if we want lives or not example for those who do not want this functionality

There is a patch that allows disabling the lives system. See # releases on the Luma's Workshop Discord.
It would be even better if there is an addition to the patch that allows taking away a certain amount of coins or star bits, and replace the lives counter decreasing animation to show coins or star bits decreasing instead.
