Duplicate images in camera roll picker

I'm instantiating the picker like this
SYNPhotoPickerViewController *picker = [[SYNPhotoPickerViewController alloc] initWithTitle:@"Photo Panel" options:SYNPhotoPickerCameraRoll];

But I'm getting full duplicates showing up in the picker. In addition one copy returns a correct asset url, but the other one returns a null asset.
