Allignment

Heres something I also discovered, you can use the align package to align equations

\begin{align}
    \bar{X} &= \frac{1}{n}(X_1 + ... + X_n)\\
E(\bar{X}) &= \frac{1}{n}E(X_1 + ... + X_n)\\
                 &= \frac{1}{n}[E(X_1) + ... + E(X_n)]\\
                 &= \frac{1}{n}[\mu + ... + \mu]\\
                 &= \frac{n\mu}{n})\\
                 &= \mu
\end{align}
$$

Have you got left alignment anywhere?

I tried begin{flalign*} but that won't work because I can't add the amsmath package.

Just move the & to the start of every line.

And you get this:
