Better documentation for the installation

Sorry, I am not familiar with Haskell, and I could not make this work. I got this error:

Perhaps a bit longer explanation of how to set it up to then use it as a filter would be useful.

Sorry about the difficulty; Haskell is quite notorious for conflicting dependency versions (AKA "cabal hell"), and I admit that I've taken a "works for me" approach so far.

There are a few recent approaches to fixing cabal hell 'in general', so without more details about your particular setup, etc. the first thing I'd suggest is trying cabal sandboxes, cabal new-build or stack.

The key to these commands is that they install everything into a standalone directory, whereas cabal normally tries to put everything into one giant directory in $HOME, which is what leads to conflicts etc.
