Fetching thumbnails

If I try to load the thumbnail of a player/hat it won't work.

I get a 404 when I visit it too, but if I put an image label inside normal studio with that link it loads just fine.

Oh and also, @frostyyyy1 is there a way to overwrite a person's user code so if they're not in a list of whitelisted usernames in the gameconfig I can just change their name to whatever? I want to make it so they just become guests (I believe the userid -1 also makes them unable to chat.)

@LazVaz12: you can connect server_core.retrieve_user_id and server_core.retrieve_username to a database. They natively support Python functions, so you can find a way to connect the whitelist to a .txt file or something.

@Windows81 is there no way to do it just with the gameconfig? my current guest system just turns people into a guest if they have no username when joining (i replaced the Player tick function thing) and then i made the avatars check if the user code started with "Guest " and then gave them a guest avatar.

i know the guest with a cap is only for mobile players but it doesnt really matter

@Windows81 is there a guest mode of some sort? only thing i can get rn is the avatar & username, their data still stores since their ACTUAL user code is still being passed (also causes the same guest number to be sent since its stored), along with that they also can chat.

I am unaware of a 'guest mode' being built into the Rōblox engine. Consult the 2016 source code.

i believe one userid gives you guest mode, i am unsure though
