simg2img - Error "Bad magic"

i compiled the ext4 utils under Cygwin. It created simg2img.exe.

I tried to use simeg2img.exe to convert some sparse ext4 file images.

When I tried to use simg2img.exe I obtained "Bad magic" error opening file image.

What's the matter?

I used for the same scope EXT4 uunapcker (Open - Save) and it worked fine with the same file images.

I am not using Cygwin, so I have absolutely no idea. You'll have to debug this yourself, unfortunately, or find somebody who is also using Cygwin.

Please analyze well the report before to answer.

"Bad magic" is an error in the program. Not in the compilation.

The program didn't recognize a magic header that other program recognize well.
