Scheduled tasks in the future

Hello, I used your script to enable ESU on the 14th of October so it was probably version 0.0.6.
As a EU citizen I was eligible to ESU for free but hadn't yet seen the enrolment button.
And it worked great with your script, thank you !

I also disabled scheduled tasks as recommended, using the included .cmd file.

I was wondering, what are these scheduled tasks for ?
Could they remove my machine from the ESU program (if not disabled of course) ?

And more importantly : should I re-enable them at some point ? Just before finally updating to windows 11 maybe ?

Hi,

yes, the main task ClipESUConsumer will run evaluation operation regularly
among other things, it checks if MS account is connected, but only for EEA free offer

however, it's not clear yet how it determine or when to check for EEA offer, or the global free offer
i.e. if your device location is in EEA, but you enrolled to the global offer, will it check the global and satisfy?

once the device is enrolled, the tasks are highly recommended to stay disabled always, regardless
