.NET 10 is coming, should we continue to support .NET 9?

Few days to the .NET 10 release. I was wondering how to update the project to support it, since it will be the an LTS version.
Honestly I'm not sure about what can we do with the .NET 9 support. Since it will be still supported my idea is to keep the support to .NET 9, and having a multitarget project (.NET 9 / .NET 10) till .NET 9 will come to its end of life.

What features available only in .NET 10 were you thinking of including?

.NET 9 will be supported until November 2026 (so for another year), and I don't know if the "double" codebase is worth the trouble...

Up to now I don't know. I think the only features that could be probably useful can be the new javascript interop features (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/aspnet/core/release-notes/aspnetcore-10.0?view=aspnetcore-10.0#new-javascript-interop-features).
I don't see any pros or cons that can be relevant to make a choice.

Honestly, I would not change the codebase depending on the version. I would target the corresponding version of the Microsoft.AspNetCore.Components.Web depending on the target framework.

We can keep only .NET 9 for the moment and try to understand if and how support .NET 10 explicitly

probably it would be a good idea to draft a rough release schedule, just to understand how close the first beta will be to the .NET9 EOL...

good point. I will try in the following weeks to define a hypothetical due date for each milestone we have up to now.

Just to keep this discussion on track.
I just updated both tests and stories website to .NET 10. The library will support .NET 9 till the end of support (I just updated the version of the Microsoft.AspNetCore.Components.Web to 9.0.12)
