Confused installation for beginners

I can't understand where to start to install the plugin, the exact paths where I should do it and what to do, for example.

Could someone detail it for me, please?

See #6 for how I managed to install the plugin. Note that this was half a year ago, but apparently there hasn't been any development on the plugin since then, so it should still work.

The directories "/usr/plugins/dns" do not exist.
