better way of managing sphinx dependencies for readthedocs

At the moment I generate a separate "docs/requirements.txt" file w/ poetry export -f requirments.txt --only docs --output docs/requirements.txt and reference that in a custom ".readthedocs.yml" file. That's pretty clumsy
