AutoHide: size of an autohide panel is not persisted

When a panel is docked with auto hide enabled, its collapsed/expanded state is correctly persisted across sessions. However, the panel size is not.

Steps to reproduce

1. Dock a panel (e.g. to south) with auto hide enabled.
2. Collapse it via the auto hide menu.
3. Expand it by clicking on the tab and resize it (e.g., increase vertical height).
4. Close and reopen the application.

Observed behavior

• The collapsed state is correctly restored.
• The panel’s size resets to its original dimensions, ignoring the manual resize.
• Even when uncollapsed, the panel does not restore its last size but reverts to the initial default.

Expected behavior / Improvement suggestion
It would be preferable if the layout persistence stored and restored the panel dimensions separately for both collapsed and uncollapsed states.

It was clear. I've reproduced it and marked the issue as a bug. The fix is involved. I have part of the fix developed but it will take more time; this is just a hobby side project outside of work.

I added a fix for this in 1.4, but I just discovered that it only works for the south toolbar. I'm working on fixing the other toolbars now.
