Description
Hello,
First of all, I want to say that you are doing an excellent job. The app is genuinely great - clean, fast, reliable, and clearly built by people who actually care about privacy and usability. It’s one of those rare tools that I trust enough to integrate deeply into my daily communication.
I do have a small feature request related to alias management, specifically to prevent accidental deactivation.
At the moment, the toggle used to deactivate an alias is very easy to hit by mistake. When quickly navigating through alias options on a phone, the switch is close enough to where the thumb naturally moves that I occasionally disable an alias unintentionally. This can silently break important email communication without any clear warning.
What I’d love to see is one of the following:
Moving the deactivate toggle to a less accident-prone location, or
Adding an optional “lock” mechanism for aliases or the account, so accidental taps cannot disable aliases without an explicit unlock or confirmation step.
This is not about adding friction in general - just about protecting something that is quite critical once an alias is actively used.
I’m sharing this because the app is already very good, and this feels like a small UX improvement that would make it even more robust for everyday, real-world use.
Thanks again for the great work and for building something that clearly prioritizes users.
