Dev4 is in great shape

I'm making an issue, mostly because I want to say thank you.

VRScreenCap with Geo-11 has given me many hours of 3D gaming over the past 1/2 year. By chance, a week ago I saw that you've been working on updates. I'm now properly following the project to get notified sooner.

The new features of desktop mirroring and border lighting are brilliant. I especially enjoy the ambient lighting, which I'd missed from some other virtual display apps I've used.

A few days ago, I was writing a report for an actually serious issue. After finishing with a game, VRSC would balloon in memory usage, causing my computer to freeze until the application crashed. But just before I hit send, I noticed v0.4.0-dev4 had been released just hours earlier.

I've done hours of gaming on v0.4-dev4 and that crash has definitely been solved. In that report, I was also going to say that the desktop view should show the mouse cursor so I can keep my VR headset on to click on things. dev4 also added that.

So, thanks for the updates. They've made a big difference. Dev4 is a good build. I haven't found any more issues with it.

I just remembered, there is a minor issue I've noticed.

Sometimes the ambient lighting doesn't look identical in both eyes. When this happens, it looks weird and distracting.

I found a good example of it and took a screenshot of the Oculus mirror window. A dark spot is visible in the left eye, but not the right.

Ideally, the outer glow shouldn't introduce any stereoscopic anomalies.

I had some free time each weekend to work on this a bit more and finish up some of the easier features to implement for 0.4.0.
It's nice to hear that the build is getting more stable.
I experimented with doing the blurring on the stereo image but yes, the stereo disparity is quite noticeable when you have close-up objects like in the screenshot. I'll revert it to only using the feed from one eye.
