Overspecified restrictions on base?

Is there any particular reason why this library depends on base >=4.9 && <5? Building it with older versions of base seems to work just fine.

Hi Peter, there is no reason other than that I do not have an older ghc + base available to check. What version of base it still works with? Atze

base-4.8.2.0 from ghc-7.10.3 works fine. I haven't tried earlier versions.
