SSL Problems probably caused by main header

Using 6.9.6, and bricks_skin

Hello,

I tried to switch to SSL But the SSL Connection does not work correct.

I could solve this problem by installing the lastest version of bricks_skin.
But this version shows cover images twice. In the version before cover images worked pretty fine on startpage.

So I hope that here is some out who could fix this.
