* 11/15/2025: A rice cooker is an excellent tool for a growing family, in particular when the kids are growing independent. They can place rice, a piece of trout, seasoning, and press a button. In 25 minutes they have an excellent meal for themselves.

* 04/29/2025: Over the weekend I picked up some sausages from the farmer's market and the only buns I could procure were of the Wonder Bread variety. They are OK, but not great. However, I steamed them and they morphed into something completely upgraded. So, sometimes, it's good to steam your buns!
