DVR Slinex GL-08N Incompatibility: AUTH Command Not Recognized #3
Description
When using the DVR Slinex GL-08N with software version 4.0, it appears that the DVR's software is not fully RFC compliant. The following sequence is encountered:
HELO LocalHost
AUTH LOGIN
Results in:
220 homeassistant.local Python SMTP 1.4.6
HELO LocalHost
250 homeassistant.local
AUTH LOGIN
500 Error: command 'AUTH' not recognized
It seems the SMTP server is not recognizing the AUTH LOGIN command properly without EHLO.
