SD card problem: <no files>

I have a problem that my CYD Dial Pendant does not display any files in the SD card menu (tried with .nc and .gcode files on it). I run fluidNC v4.0.1 on a bigtreetech/rodent board and CYD Dial Pendant v1.1.2.

When I connect the USB on the dial (at 1000000 baud) during operation and press the refresh button in the sd card menu, I can see that the files list from the sd card is transmitted, but the dial stays with "no files". I'm new to this project, so please let me know any tricks to get this working (e.g. special folders, filenames,...).

It seems there is a Problem with CYD Dial Pendant v1.1.2 with fluidNC v4.0.1. It works OK with v3.9.9. Also Probe function started on the pendant crashes fluidNC v4.0.1, but is OK on v3.9.9
