xbox g923 issues

i got the xbox g923 and after doing the usb mode switch. and udev fix i open oversteer and i cant change any settings when i play games my wheel is super stiff.
and i have to turn it half way before having just a little bit of movement.

weird thing-

I am suddenly experiencing the same problems, but on the PS wheel. Before it worked, including haptic feedback and stuff like that.

When i restarted my pc i found the UI to look exactly like yours and now i cant play beam with haptic anymore

have you found anything regarding that problem?

EDIT: I FOUND THE FIX

Basically my distro automatically updated the kernel. so the module wasnt loading (properly) anymore

to fully remove the old module:
sudo dkms remove new-lg4ff/<version> --all

Install the new kernel headers! thats important.

to reinstall it again:
sudo dkms install /usr/src/new-lg4ff

Quick question, as I am about to purchase this wheel, haven't decided between the PS4 and Xbox versions, and I am on manjaro.

It seems that OP is running the xbox version, but, if that's the case, then why do you need a udev fix if it's supposedly now working out of the box with the updated kernel driver?

@biglittlenuub666 is this issue still happening?

The answer from @JeyKul seems not relevant to the xbox version since new-lg4ff should only apply to PS4 versions so I am wondering which one I should actually purchase.

Got the xbox version of the 923, works great OOTB on manjaro. Just needed to add the udev rules for it. Oversteer picks up everything.

i totally didnt see that the xbox wheel doesnt need the lg4ff driver.. lol

I can from personal experience say that the PS wheel works as expected. The xbox Wheel apperantly should just work.
I currently play ets2 and all features seem to work on my wheel
