Can not run the bin file

Could not find gosu-0.7.41 in any of the sources
Run `bundle install` to install missing gems.
Gem dependencies not met. To install:
  bundle install

^^^ could the hardcoded restriction be lifted?

I'd like to use the latest gosu. I am willing to adjust
the code base to the new gosu too, but the hardblock
in bundle confuses me a bit (I don't use bundler
myself, only gem).
