I’m using recurring tasks in Tasknotes, for example:
a task that repeats on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
scheduled from 10:00 to 12:00
Sometimes I need to reschedule only one specific occurrence, for example:
on Wednesday, move the task from 10:00–12:00 to 14:00–16:00
this change should apply only to that day
the other occurrences should remain unchanged
Current behavior:
When I change the time of one occurrence in the calendar,
the time is updated for all instances of the recurring task.
Expected behavior:
When editing a recurring task occurrence, I would like an option to choose:
apply changes to this occurrence only, or
apply changes to the entire series
This is similar to how recurring events are handled in Google Calendar and other calendar tools.
This would make recurring tasks much more flexible for real-life scheduling,
where occasional one-off changes are very common.
