No reconnection when changing internet connection

When testing connectivity as a counselor by changing internet connection from Wifi to Wifi hotspot (via iPhone5) the following happened (on Mac / Chrome)

• The chat was opened and a room created
• The internet connection was changed from normal Wifi to Wifi hotspot
• The room was paused automatically
• I unpaused the room
• After a few seconds, the room closed and the "you lost connection window was shown"
• I was redirected to /admin/opeka#rooms and the window "Chat ended: Sorry the counselor lost connection" window was shown (only meant for regular users).

Expected behaviour:

• The connection should reestablish
• The "Chat ended" window should never be shown to counselors
