My home group is starting a Big Book study using the Plain Language Big Book. This means we’ll actually be reading directly from the Plain Language Big Book.
I would like to request that GSO consider adding a new meeting type specifically for this format. Using the existing "Big Book" (BB) type might cause confusion, as it implies the meeting is based solely on the original Big Book.
Alternatively, we could classify this meeting under the "Literature" (LIT) type and include a note specifying that it focuses on the Plain Language Big Book. However, I believe adding a separate meeting type is more appropriate. It would help distinguish these meetings from traditional Big Book studies, avoid misunderstandings, and make it easier for members to find meetings tailored to their needs and expectations by filtering for this unique type.
