Registration Process - Duplicate Firstname / Lastname / Gender and Salutation

Guest registration is a very large form.
Why is it not just a button "Continue as guest"
And in Address - Step: there is the form for shipping address and invoice address.
For guest only E-Mail is shown above and for user registration it will show password.
Or even simpler as almost every shop does. The password field can be left empty if they don't want to create a login.

Currently customers need to enter firstname and lastname twice.
And choose gender and salutation together. Never seen this in another shop. :)
Also not very LGBT friendly. Salutation should be enough.

With current dataobjects and validation it is not very easy to customize it for us.
Are there any plans to optimize the registration process? Customers want to order easy and fast.
