integrate logging module / add summary information output at the end or enhance log output

Is there a way to see the errors that occurred in python at the end of an HPAsubC dump? It would be nice if there was a file enumerating some of the stats (i.e., number of ENSIGIDS searched, number of images downloaded, ENSIGIDS that it couldn’t ID and any error messages. The reason I ask is that when I started a run I briefly saw an error and then it went on to search and download.

Probably the best practice is to integrate Logging in all the scripts, and enhance general logging.
