Greek characters show up unencoded after ui migration

I am Greek and use greek characters for the title of groups.
When migrating, the addon delivers my titles in undecoded characters (if thats the correct term)
Example:
"Κουζίνα Πρώτου" turns into this: title: "\u039A\u03BF\u03C5\u03B6\u03AF\u03BD\u03B1 \u03A0\u03C1\u03CE\u03C4
\u03BF\u03C5"
