How to give mcp app genie rights?

Hi,

I'm deploying the mcp server app on databricks with the databricks cli as shown in the readme. The app starts up, but when trying to access genie I get an error that the space cannot be found. This is usually a indication that the app doesn't have enough rights.

It says in the documentation that the app service principal should have enough rights for the catalog, schema and for genie. I've used SQL to grant the catalog and schema permissions.

I cannot figure out how to give genie 'can use' rights to the service principal of the deployed app. Where can I do that? I seems like a very basic thing, though I cannot find it in the documentation.

Just found it myself. To give the rights use the 'share' functionality in genie.
