appCallbackScheme is not used #30

Hello dear developers!
In our app we use TWINT and I noticed by accident, that even if I provide invalid appCallbackScheme, the app would still work fine and after verification inside the TWINT app I was correctly returned to the screen of the app, where I started this flow. Can you please provide any information on that? Am i missing something?
transaction.options.appCallbackScheme = "xyz.testgoogle.abc" is obviously not a proper callback scheme for our app, but navigation works as expected
