App pulled from Play Store ?

The official link to the app (as reported here in 2020) seems to have been removed, and to the best of my knowledge the app is not available on the play store anymore.

Is this expected ?

Hi, the app hasn't been updated for a few years, mainly because we lack the time to do it. It is relying on sdk versions that are not compliant with the store rules.

It is probably too old now and many pieces of code are deprecated, so a complete rewrite would probably be the best solution. I think Moby and I won't have the time in a near future to do this rewrite

I have some time on my end, but the main barrier to creating a new version, especially a full rewrite, is the lack of a dummy firebase database to actually test the app.

However one thing I can probably do (at least try) is hotfix the current repository to make it compliant with recent sdk requirements - would that interest you ?

So I just spent my evening making an APK file of Disc-In for myself and other Android users within the team. I thought of also sharing it here for others if @sallesma also approves?

I can try but if not maybe I can send it to you so that you can add it to the github page yourself

I opened #418 to upgrade the app. Works fine on my device (Samsung S7).
