CMS-0057-F presents an opportunity to leverage HealthChain as a gateway plus an Interop engine. While CMS-0057-F mandates Payers to expose these APIs, it leaves Providers with a dilemma: they have access to the data, but no way to consume it. Most legacy EMRs cannot natively ingest FHIR Payor-to-Payor or Prior Auth data without expensive upgrade. HealthChain's core components can be packaged to serve as a 'Bridge Layer' middleware that allows Providers to consume these high-value Payer APIs to automate Prior Authorization and reduce denials, without ripping and replacing their current EMRs
