What are some best practices for install? after installilng php 7.4 using XAMPP, I went to localhost/install, clicked the install button, then set the username to root and leaving the password field blank, then clicked install and write cfg, then I copied the username admin and password passwd to log into dotproject. What should I use instead of root as username and leaving the password field blank during install? I tried creating a user in the database with global priviledges to create tables and databases and it wouldn't work, saying access denied

On linux i created a new user on the database, granted it full access to all databases, and then gave the user to dotproject
