After going through the whole setup of the dp-comp framework, I end up receiving this error message "error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1" when running "./setup.sh". The full length error message is a bit long, but I can post that as well if required.

Do you mind try running the scripts in setup.sh and see which part caused the error? Also, your gcc versions and the full error message would help understand the error.
